Mintador trades physical precious metals with professional counterparties. This page sets out the limits of that activity and of the information on this site. Please read it before relying on anything published here.
The terms of use govern the website itself.
What Mintador is licensed to do
Mintador holds a DMCC licence for Non-Manufactured Precious Metal Trading (activity code 5142-04). That licence permits the trading of precious metals in non-manufactured form.
Mintador is not a refinery, an assayer or a manufacturer. Refining, assaying and manufacturing are carried out by accredited third parties.
What Mintador does not do
- Mintador does not offer, deal in or arrange financial products, securities, derivatives or virtual assets.
- Mintador does not manage money or metal on behalf of clients, and does not operate custody or allocated storage accounts in its own name.
- Mintador does not accept deposits and does not hold client funds.
- Mintador does not sell to consumers or offer retail investment products.
Mintador is not licensed or supervised as a financial services firm by the Securities and Commodities Authority, the Dubai Financial Services Authority, the Financial Services Regulatory Authority or the Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority, and nothing it publishes should be read as a financial services offering.
Prices and market information
Prices for physical metal are agreed transaction by transaction, against a stated reference and premium or discount, and only in writing.
Where any market information appears on this site, it is indicative, is drawn from third-party sources, may be delayed, and must not be relied on for valuation, accounting or trading decisions.
Precious metals carry risk
The price of precious metals moves, sometimes sharply, and physical metal carries handling, transport, assay, counterparty and liquidity risk. Past price behaviour tells you nothing about future price behaviour.
Mintador makes no representation about the future value of any metal, and gives no assurance of return, protection of capital or liquidity.
Counterparty relationships
Mintador trades only with entities that complete its due diligence. Making an enquiry does not create a relationship, and Mintador may decline any enquiry or transaction without giving reasons.
Mintador is required to decline business, and in some circumstances to report it, where it cannot establish the lawful origin of metal or funds. It is not permitted to disclose that such a report has been made.
Third-party information
Where this site refers to standards, accreditations, market bodies or service providers, those references describe the framework within which Mintador operates. They do not imply that a third party endorses Mintador, nor that Mintador holds an accreditation it has not expressly claimed.
Jurisdiction
This site is published from the United Arab Emirates and is directed at counterparties who may lawfully deal with a Dubai-based physical metals trader.
